The Shamen - Ebeneezer Goode

While I was on the Tammy Wynette tip (see below) this one surely had to go in too ...

"E's are good! E's are good! It's Ebeneezer Goode!!" (Click for lyrics.)

Remember these scandalizing words from 1992??

Mr C is a serious DJ, co-owner of The End nightclub in central London.

His "Shamen" band was basically about psychedelic drugs and native rainforest peoples banging drums and tripping on ayahusca-type powdered vines...

Ebeneezer Goode was a novelty single designed to push their one & only 1992 album.

In the words of Bevis & Butthead: "it's from that country where everybody talks like a pussy".

Please do dig out videos Ecce.

I thought it was an African dwarf frog. Looked it up. But got shown via google an aquatic frog that was green with a white belly. Mine was relly dark green all over (in fact, really it looked black) with almost imperceptible black dots, if I remember correctly, like dots of black pepper. And definitely had no distinction between back and belly. Some colour all over. And he was tiny. And I was assured that's how he stayed - ie fullgrown. Much smaller than the frog google showed me. I'd like to get an African clawed frog (which gets to 5 inches) to keep with plecks and chichids ...
