KLF: Last Train to Trancentral ("pure trance mix")

THE KLF: AKA "JUSTIFIED ANCIENTS OF MU MU" AKA JAMS were musician and A&R man Bill Drummond and musician and techno-genius Jimmy Cauty.

BACK IN THE DAY THE KLF were my favourite pop spoofters. Authors of a book "how to make a million in the record industry" before they actually did so ~ they cleared £1000,000 after taxes from the sales of singles from and the 1991 album: .

Afterwards they drifted and, in the name of "art collective"-style live stunts "the K Foundation" invited the cream of the British press to witness said £1 million in cash burned ~ literally going up in smoke.

And afterwards, surprise-surprise all they could think about was what such money might have bought. Hmmmmm. How many words do you know for STUPID?

This is an absolute cracker. "Ironic" 90s pop at its very best.

Who'd have thought it? Before the 1990s and "Generation E" kicked in, you'd ever hear Tammy Wynette warbling over a comedy pop track :: "They're justified and they're ancient and they drive an ice-cream van ..."
